It is a very simple and easy trick to perform on both Android and iOS. Floating your keyboard is a very interesting feature to have on your phone.
To get started, you first have to download GBoard. It is a simple keyboard designed by Google. You simply have to download it from the Playstore or App Store and install it.
Make Gboard Your Main Keyboard
Before you can activate the floating keyboard, it is recommended that Gboard become your main keyboard. If it came pre-installed, it is no longer necessary. Otherwise, you should follow these simple steps:
On Android, you must enter the phone’s Settings, look for the Text input option, then Keyboards or Manage keyboards. You will see all the available ones, choose the one you just installed.
It’s easier on iPhone. Enter the messages and press the text box, as if you were going to write something. Now touch the key that has a globe and you will enter the Keyboard Settings, where you will choose Gboard.

How to have the floating keyboard?

Open WhatsApp and enter any conversation, be it private or group.
