Other MTN South Africa shortcodes

There is another important MTN Shortcode that you must take a critical look at. That is the *100#. It is the voicemail code.

What is the MTN Shortcode for airtime?
If you want to check your MTN South Africa airtime balance, the shortcode is *136#. If you want to recharge for another user, use *141*(voucher number)*(cellphone number to be recharged)#. Use *136*10# for MTN Eazi Recharge.
How do I buy data with MTN Shortcode?
There are different types of data bundles with different codes for purchase. Dial *136*2# if you want to purchase data, voice, or SMS bundles. You can also get promotional data bundles this way.
