It runs on an Octacore CPU with four 2.3GHz cores and another four 1.7GHz Cores. The GPU for the global edition of the Note 8 is Mali-G71 MP20 while the USA/China edition runs on the Adreno 540  GPU.

Some other features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 are Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, NFC, Bluetooth, Iris scanner, fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate, SpO2, Bixby natural language commands and dictation.
