- Wait for the code to load and bravo! You have your phone number displayed on the screen.
Note that the number will be displayed with the International Ghana dialing code. Example: 2335XXXXXXXX. All you have to do in this case is to remove the International Ghana dial code which is “233” and replace the code with ‘0’ and that is it. After doing this, your number should look like this; “05XXXXXXXX“.

Check your AirtelTigo phone number using the Settings app
Most smartphones register your phone number as soon as you insert a new sim card. In most cases, you can find your phone number from the Settings app of your smartphone. To check your number using this method, follow the procedure below.
- Open Phone Settings: Unlock your phone and go to the “Settings” app. This app often looks like a gear or cogwheel icon and can be found on your home screen or in the app drawer.
- Scroll Down: Scroll down through the settings options until you find “About Phone” or “About Device.” This is usually located towards the bottom of the settings menu.
- Select “Status” or “Phone Identity”: In the “About Phone” or “About Device” section, you should see an option called “Status” or “Phone Identity.” Tap on it.
- Find Your Phone Number: Look for the “My Phone Number” or “Phone Number” entry. Your AirtelTigo phone number will be displayed right there.
