Dovedale Campus: This is another UC campus adjacent to the Ilam campus off Dovedale avenue. This particular campus houses the Old Henry Field Library, The Christchurch College of English, the Ilam Early Learning Center, and Hayashi and Sonada students’ residences.

The university has a Christchurch City Campus and campuses in other towns including Nelson, Tauranga, and Timaru.

University Of Canterbury Libraries

Since the school is among one the best, it is also appropriate for research and learning material to be available to students for easy access.

The university has so many libraries most of the time, course-specific libraries. There are physical libraries and also an online portal for easy access to research materials.

The Central Library – This is the largest university library in the country. Housed in an 11-story building on the main campus, it contains different kinds of items that you could get in any library.

Henry Field Library – This is another library on the Dovedale campus. This library also has a collection of learning materials to support learning at the university.

EPS Library – This is a course-specific library providing lots of research and learning materials on the Engineering and Physical Science Courses.

Macmillan Brown Library – Unlike the other libraries, this library specializes in collecting only New Zealand Pacific Island-related items. This extraordinary library’s art collection exceeds expectations hence making it one of the largest arts library in the entire region.

The library also houses some other old government and trade union records besides the arts.

Online Portal – Another easy way to access information or learning resources is through the University Of Canterbury’s online library. This makes it very easy for students to access research and learning materials. You can also find items including past examination papers from the online library.
